A Kuwaiti Blogger Has Been Sentenced To Five Years In Jail For Slandering The UAE
A Kuwaiti-based blogger has been sentenced to five years jail, for slandering the UAE.
The blogger, reported to be Dr Abdullah Al-Saleh according to the Kuwait Times, was sentenced to prison with labour, for comments he published regarding the UAE.
The Kuwaiti national has previously faced other charges in Kuwait totaling 31 years imprisonment for charges regarding insulting Saudi Arabia.
The reports state the man is at large and has applied for asylum in the UK.
