A Muslim Girl Got Horrifically Trolled But Her Response Was Positively Flawless
This is the story of Lamyaa, an Arab Muslim teen living in Pennsylvania, United States and it’s going viral after she called out one abusive internet troll with a beautiful response.
Lamyaa was part of an online conversation when the subject of President Trump came up. When she criticized the President’s views of Islam she got wholly shut down with one particularly aggressive comment:
“Stop defending Islam Bi***…shut up you couldn’t take that scarf off or your dad would beat your a**.”
…That would be a hijab the offending dope is referring to btw.
So Lamyaa went and asked her Dad, who lives in Saudi, what exactly he would do if she chose not to wear hijab
And his response gives us all the feels
She posted the conversation on twitter and it currently has over 300k likes
The public support has been massive
For her choice to raise awareness of aggression towards Muslim women
So proud of the work @lxmyaa has done to raise awareness towards Muslim women + their decision to wear hijab. God bless you, angel. ????

No doubt Lamyaa is a strong lady
You’re an amazing strong woman, it’s very different in other countries and their views. I’m from London and my dad works in Saudi. @lxmyaa

Lamyaa is actively engaging on Twitter with supporters
