A long weekend has just been announced to observe Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birthday.
Sunday, November 18 will be an official holiday for the public sector including all ministries and federal entities.
Work will resume on Monday, November 19.
The birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is celebrated on the 12th day of the Islamic calendar month, the Arabic name for the holiday is Eid Al Mawlid an Nabawi.
