A Man In Dubai Passed Away After His Car Caught Fire In A Tunnel

A Dubai resident’s life ended in a tragic accident after his car caught fire in a tunnel.

According to Brigadier Said Muhair Al Mazouei, Director General of Dubai Police Traffic Department, the man had passed away inside the tunnel heading to Deira, when his car burned completely- resulting in his immediate death.

Al Mazreouei asks motorists to stay safe and comply with the speed limit,  especially when taking a turn and entering tunnels and keep your attention focused on the road to avoid tragic accidents as such. According to local reports, the man’s car flipped over and caught fire near the Trade Centre Roundabout in Dubai on Tuesday afternoon.

The Dubai Police confirms that he was the only one in the vehicle after it lost control. Firefighters immediately rushed to the scene to control the fire but were unable to save the man.
