A 33-year-old Pakistani security guard has been arrested for trying to kidnap a six-year-old boy during his horse riding training.

The incident happened on April 5, the Dubai Court of First Instance has heard – where the man tried to take the little boy off the horse around 4.30pm, claiming the boy was his son.

The man confidently began to walk away with the child but was shortly stopped by the boy’s mother and a coach at the club.

The man was known to the young boy – as he had visited the family’s home prior, but the mother said she cut off the friendship after he started acting inappropriately.

The mother called the police immediately

The man, once confronted, kept attempting to take the child away by force, stating that he is his son. He also threatened the wife by stating that she had to marry him and give him money; once the police was called the man completely fled the scene before they arrived.

He even had a fake marriage contract between the two of them that mentioned that the son was his

Trying to extort money from the British mother, the accused said that they were married, showed a fake contract, and continuously stated the son was his.

A month later the mother received a worrying text

A while after the incident occurred, the mother said she received an SMS from an unknown number that said, “Sorry for what happened at the club but I had not seen my son for a month.”
