Split Underway: The St Regis Branding Has Been Replaced With ‘Habtoor Palace’
The Marriott Habtoor spilt can now be seen in plain sight.
The ‘W’ for W Hotel Dubai, ‘St Regis Dubai’ and ‘Westin Dubai Habtoor City’ hotel branding have been removed from the Habtoor City located hotels.
St Regis has been replaced by ‘Habtoor Palace’, the Westin sign has been blocked off and a question mark hangs over what’s to come for W Dubai.
This comes after Marriott International, one of the largest hotel groups in the world, announced it would “no longer manage or otherwise be associated with” The St Regis Dubai, W Dubai Habtoor City, and The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City.
This is according to a statement via Marriott International. ‘Habtoor Palace’ will operate in place of St Regis Dubai from July 31.

Last week, we reported the famous “W” sign for W Dubai had been removed
However today it looks like a V shaped sign is being erected in its place.
The jury’s still out on what’s to come for this Dubai hotel.
