This Is What Happened When Police Officers Tried To Arrest A Man Found Leaving Massage Cards On Car Windows
In February of this year, two Dubai police officers attempted to apprehend a man who was found leaving massage spa cards on car windows and windshields.
The 29 year old man, a visitor in the country, immediately tried to run when the officers told the man they were police. When the officers tried to restrain him, he resisted and allegedly attempted to beat, punch and push the officers, causing a nose bleed and bruising, until they cuffed him.
The man was brought to a police station in Al Nahda before the officers journeyed to a nearby hospital to obtain a medical report.
The man pleaded not guilty of resisting arrest and assaulting two police men
The man claimed the officers grabbed him without identifying themselves as police officers, and that he did not have any criminal intent.
The verdict will be heard on June 18th.
