MBC Has Upped Its Security At Its Dubai Offices After Threats From IS Over Its Controversial Show
MBC has ramped up security at its offices in Dubai and abroad after receiving threats from IS in regards to its new series, Black Crows, according to its programme director, Ali Jaber.
Black Crows aims to tell the story of the women surrounding the IS world in Syria and the children within it.
The show was written with researchers working with people from Raqqa in Syria, learning about the way IS works.
Jaber said in an interview on a US radio station that the studio had received numerous threats from the group in regards to Black Crows, and MBC has increased security at all its locations.
