Finally There Is A New Process To Speed Up The Legal System In Dubai
A new court system is being implemented in Dubai to help reduce the court time taken for misdemeanors.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced the plans, which will see small courts in every police station.
The courts will handle 21 minor offenses including traffic and residency offenses, begging and use of liquor.
Starting today, the One Day Misdemeanor Courts will help reduce waiting time by 60%
It’s expected that the court-system will move cases through more rapidly, and save the UAE government an estimated AED40 million per year.
