The Sale Price Of Number Plates At An Auction In Habtoor City This Weekend Was Astonishing
This weekend saw the first ever auction for the revised double letter number plates.
The auction was held on Saturday by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) at the Westin Hotel Habtoor City with the first batch of coveted ‘AA’ number plates up for grabs.
The AA codes up for auction were the only AA codes available in Dubai for the next 12 months…

AA10 sold for AED3.12 million
10 exclusive number plates were up for grabs and the auction generated AED12.3 million in total.
The highest spend for a number plate was AED3.12 million and went to businessman Majid Mustafa, according to Gulf News.
AA12 went for AED2.72 million
AA50 went for AED1.84 million
AA11111 went for AED1.21 million
