PICS: It’s Official! The Louvre Abu Dhabi Is FINALLY (Almost) Open And It Looks Spectacular
After what feels like FOREVER, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is finally almost open and it looks truly spectacular.
It’s open officially on Saturday 11 and it’s quite possibly the most exciting launch this year.
Until then, one lucky Lovin member got to be there for the press launch this morning and snapped some beautiful images (more as they come)…
Weekend plans sorted:
The natural light and design is awe-inspiring
Featuring contemporary art from centuries ago, as well as art work from other cultures
600 exhibits on display including the works by Leonardo da Vinci and Vincent Van Gogh
Not just art, visitors can view other objects of historical, cultural and sociological significance
The museum will emphasise exchange and shared human experiences through its 23 galleries
There is so much lined up for the launch weekend and tickets aren’t even that expensive, get the info here.
Open Thursdays and Fridays 10am to 10pm and Saturdays to Wednesdays from 10am to 8pm
Entrance is AED60 13 to 22-years-olds are just AED30 and free for kids
