Over 1,000 Abandoned Cars Were Seized In Abu Dhabi Last Year
The National newspaper reported that the main areas where the cars were abandoned were Abu Dhabi city, Baniyas West and East, Shakhboot City, Shamkha, Shawamekh, Mussaffah, Al Fallah, Bahia, Al Sadr, Shalila, Shahama, Samha, Rahba and Mussaffah industrial area. This follows a recent campaign by Abu Dhabi municipality to clamp down on cars being left abandoned around this city.
The violation fee is 3,000 AED

The Abu Dhabi municipality are running a campaign to combat blatant abandonment of cars
Some people even spotted potentially abandoned planes, perhaps the fine is larger for those!
