Pakistan military forces claim it shot down two Indian jets.
Pakistan shot down two jets, and captured one pilot, after Indian planes flew into Pakistani airspace, for the first time in nearly fifty years, according to reports.
“We do not wish to escalate but are fully prepared if forced into that paradigm.”

Domestic and international airports have been shut across India and Pakistan
Tensions escalated following a suicide attack in Kashmir on February 14 by alleged Pakistani-militants, which left approximately 40 Indian paramilitary police dead. This is the first military action since a ceasefire was declared in 1971.
