Reem Island Experienced A Power Outage Last Night And Took To Twitter To Vent Their Frustrations

A power failure in Abu Dhabi on Thursday evening had parts of Reem Island in darkness according to local news. There are never usually electricity wipe out in the UAE, which is why residents were slightly concerned.

The power outage had residents worried

Traffic lights were also shut down and there was a blackout at Sun Tower, Marina Square and even Marina Bay Towers. The cause of this power outage is still unknown, but Abu Dhabi Distribution Company instantly dealt with the crisis by sending a text to alert the customers about the situation. They also apologized for the inconvenience that was being caused to customers.

The power was restored to some buildings before 10 pm, according to local news.
