The UAE Is Now Officially Scouting For Their Second Emirati Astronaut

The search is ON for the next Emirati space dweller. If you want to be a part of the Emirati space fam, all you’ve got to do is register at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre for the UAE Astronaut Programme.
Earlier on Saturday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, took to his official social media handles to announce that the MBRSC is currently accepting applications for the second batch of the programme.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed also shared that this is only the beginning of the UAE’s space exploration

Registrations have opened up less than two months since Hazzaa AlMansoori, the first Emirati in space, wrapped up his space mission
Astronaut Hazzaa was previously on an eight-day mission to the International Space Station (ISS) and became the first-ever Arab onboard the ISS.
