Drivers Take Note: The Following Roads Will Be Closed In Dubai During The Next Four Weeks

Standard maintenance mean road closures on Naif St, one of Dubai’s busiest streets, for the next four weeks.

Improvements started on the road on July 8, and will continue on various sections of the road as the preventative maintenance takes place, it was announced by the Road and Transport Authority.

Closures will be carried out in stages. Stage one from the direction of Omar bin Al Khattab Street towards Al Musalla Street will be closed until July 22.

July 23 until August 5 marks the second phase and closure from Al Musalla Street towards Omar bin Al Khattab Street.

Alternative bus routes are in place for bus users

The circular route has diverted for the duration and will start from the Union Metro Station, go through Naif Park, Naif Junction 1, Burj Nahar Junction 1, and Al Nakhal bus before returning to the Union Metro Station. This will run at 15 minute intervals during the day.

Bus routes at Naif Junction 2 and Burj Nahar Junction 2 are suspended so this temporary circular route is in place as an alternative.
