Saudi Arabia Is Hosting A CAMEL Beauty Contest And It Actually Looks Interesting
It’s called the Mazayen al-ibl Heritage Festival and Camel Beauty Contest
We kid you not, this is actually a thing, and it’s got quite a big following…. It’s an annual festival that’s taking place this year from march 19th – April 15th in Saudi Arabia, and it aims to connect new generations to heritage and cultural traditions of the past as part of Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision.
Over 2 MILLION visitors are expected to attend the festival where 30,000 camels will be out to look their best. Prices for winning camels can reach over AED 1 million, so no doubt these camels will be primped to perfection.

Contests have helped see a 70% increase in the price of camels within the stock market, so it’s not all fun and games, these pageants have a purpose!
