A New Study Has Ranked Nationalities On Safest Driving

A study of drivers’ insurance claims in 2016 has revealed nationalities making the most and least claims on their insurance. 

According to insurance comparison website, Yallacompare, French drivers were top of the list for safe drivers, with 94.4% of them not making a claim in the past year. 

Second was United Kingdom, with 93.4% making no claim. 

Third was Australia and America, with just 6.9% of drivers reporting claims. 

The highest amount of claims were made by Filipino nationals, with 13.1%, followed by Egyptian nationals with 11.9%. 

Sudanese drivers came in with the third-most claims at 11.1%. 

For age groups

The data showed drivers aged 25-29 made the most claims with 11.9% of drivers claiming on insurance. 

Drivers with cars worth between AED400,000-500,000 made the least claims 

Only 6.5% of drivers with cars at this value made a claim. Drivers with cars valued between AED50,000-100,000 made the most claims with 11.3%.
