A Crackdown On Salons Has Seen More Than 45 Of Them Issued With Warnings For Bad Hygiene

More than 45 beauty salons have been issued warnings against poor hygiene, improper storage of products and expired items in Abu Dhabi, and an additional eight have received court injunctions. 

Abu Dhabi Municipality has cracked down, issuing warnings to salons and hairdressers over the violations during inspections to the properties. 

A reported 686 salons were inspected, with 1,045 pieces of banned products seized on the spot. 

The Abu Dhabi Municipality will monitor the offending salons to ensure compliance with health regulations.
