Say Goodbye To Slime Toys As They’ve Been Recalled Off The Shelves In The UAE

Your favourite blob of slime that oozed through your fingers is being recalled off the shelves across the UAE. 

Retailers have been ordered to remove four types of slime toys containing the acid “boric,” by the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology.

So-Squishy, Magic Crystal Mud, Slime and Glitter Slime are the products that have been recalled by the authority.

The reason behind the recall of the slimey product is linked to excess limits of the Boron element, which can potentially be toxic for children if ingested in any way or form. 

Authorities are advising parents to stop their children from using the slime as children are especially more sensitive to the acid than adults. 

Slime, available in multiple colors, sizes and textures has become extremely popular amongst children over the last couple of years
