A New Scam Has Emerged In The UAE And Authorities Have Advised People To Be Extra Careful

A new fraudulent means through which confidential data is obtained is targeting bank customers in the UAE.

Bankers are warning their customers of a new wave of voice phishing (vishing) 

Phishing is when fake emails are sent purporting reputable companies to get people to reveal personal information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details.

Several  attempts by scammers to get confidential information through the phone have been reported

A number of  banks in the UAE are alerting their customers about such scams and asking them to take necessary precautions to protect their online and offline confidential banking information.
