A Scam Put Together By A Travel Agency Has Ripped Off People For More Than AED 100,000

About 70 people have been left out of pocket due to a travel agency scam, that has seen more than AED100,000 lost. 

The travel agency sold packages to expats with visas and tickets, but buyers were left chasing the agency after it failed to deliver. 

One expat spoke to ARN News Centre about the matter, and told them she received a cheque for a ‘refund’ from the agency, but was unable to cash it. 

The issue has been ongoing since March, and she told ARN: “A lot of us are waiting for a refund but don’t have any answers from the agency.”
