The Scottish Man Arrested In Dubai Is Back On UK Soil And Has Told The UK Press His Version Of Events
The eyes of the international media have been firmly on Dubai after a Scottish man was arrested over an incident at a Dubai bar this summer.
Jamie Harron was on a two-day stopover when the incident took place. Another man pressed charges against him after an altercation, he later dropped the charges however Harron still faced public charges for public indecency.
He was initially jailed for three months, before an order from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai called for his release.
