A Secret Dubai Police Car May Follow You And Pull You Over For The Best Possible Reason
If you are a driver with no penalties or fines on your record this year you may be in luck.
A new initiative by Dubai Police is rewarding good drivers. Cars will be picked at random, if the driver has a clean record a secret police car will follow the car, if the car is following the rules of the road the secret police will signal the car to pull over and the driver will receive vouchers and prizes on the spot.
The police will also surprise drivers at malls, if the driver’s traffic record is clean, the driver will instantly win the prizes and vouchers. They’re rolling out the new rewards initiative over the next few months, so drive carefully peeps to be in with a chance to win.
The ‘white points system’ has proven a big success
The white points system, another initiative from the Dubai Police to encourage safe driving, has seen a big increase in the number of drivers eligible to win the prize, from 700 winners in the first year to 2,000 eligible winners right now.
All winners are placed into a draw, two will be chosen at random and each given a car!
