A New Bridge Will Slash The Traffic Time From Dubai To Sharjah In A Big Way
The Dubai to Sharjah traffic is infamous, but current plans from the Ministry of Infrastructure Development will make a significant difference to journey time.
A huge bridge in Sharjah’s Al Beda district is currently being constructed and it’s expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2018.
The AED200 million build will feature six lanes on the Emirates Roads and three lanes on the Sharjah-Mleiha Road according to reports.
The road will have the capacity to hold 7,800 MORE vehicles per hour
This should ease congestion for those heading in the Sharjah direction during evening traffic.
