A new system rolling out will allow users to reserve public parking spaces via mobile phone, which might be the handiest thing ever.

From December 12, Sharjah car spaces will be available to book up to five hours in advance on their phones, according to a post by Sharjah Municipality.

At present, the function will only be available to Etisalat users, but is expected to roll out on other providers soon
