Students In Sharjah Under Investigation After Two Fires Broke Out In A School In Just 48 Hours

Students in a Sharjah are under investigation after two fires broke out in the space of 48 hours.

Both students and staff are suffering from asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation following the incidents, according to a report in the Khaleej Times.

The students are facing arson charges after two fires broke out in a short space of time, leading school authorities to believe neither were accidents. 

The students could face criminal charges, and Dr. Saeed Al Kabi, Sharjah Educational Council Chairman said the issue will not be taken lightly, according to the report.”If the investigations prove that the fires were started by students, the issue will not be taken lightly, considering that they are high school students who are aware of the dangers of fire to others lives and property”.
