A Sharjah Teacher Was Punished After A Video Of Him Dancing With Students Surfaced

A public school teacher received a transfer out of a Sharjah school to a school in Al Dhaid as a punishment for a viral video that surfaced. 

The video shows the students in the class dancing and being extremely loud and then shows the teacher joining his students for a dance. 

Students’ phones were also confiscated

After his transfer, the parents of the students we also asked to sign a paper by The Ministry Of Education, saying their children will not repeat the act. 

According to the report, the teacher did not stop the students from misbehaving and even joined in to dance with them. 

The video received criticism – with some disagreeing with such acts and others asking the Ministry to be more lenient.
