HH Sheikh Hamdan Turned Up At The New Apple Store Today And The Crowd Couldn’t Get Enough

The new Apple store, the third in the UAE, opened it’s doors to the public this week to one major media frenzy.

The stunning design has even got Apple CEO Tim Cook excited, but today the excitement was for a different reason.

The new store has been given the royal seal of approval by none other than HH Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of the UAE and ruler of Dubai who turned up to the store, with little notice (to the public anyway).

Dubai’s Crown Prince is a proud user of the iPhone

He’s a keen photographer and usually tags the iPhone in some of his Insta posts. Dubai Mall is a busy place to be on a Saturday, but we imagine the crowds parted to make way for the prince. Luckily some eagle-eyed visitors managed to capture some the following clips….

These Insta users caught the entourage before they entered the store

The store is laid out over two floors, it boasts 40 steps, a HUGE screen and a 185ft glass window

The Crown Price welcomed Apple to Dubai via his Snapchat account

Inside the store HH greeted the staff

And got up to date on the incredible solar powered ‘wings’ windows

148 staff who speak 48 languages are employed by the store

HH can be heard saying “I Love Apple” at the end of this clip

He even had time to stop for a few selfies!

Lovin Dubai went to check the store out earlier this week…
