Sheikh Mohammed And His Family Saved This Suffering Bird And The Full Story Is TOO CUTE

Just this morning we shared a story of Dubai’s ruling family snapping selfies but it looks like they were up to a bit more than that over the last week. HRH Princess Haya, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed, the Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai shared this most amazing story told by Sheikh Mohammed to their children.

The Surprises of Sheikh Mohammed: A few weekends ago, Zayed, Jalila and I were with Sheikh Mohammed in the desert and he said, ‘Let me show you something.’ He said, ‘A big group (sedge) of cranes were migrating through the desert. But two stopped. I saw them when I was driving and I could see that one of them was in trouble. By the time we got to them, one had died. So I left food and water for the other bird.’ A few days later, the crane remained because its group had long gone. So I asked a man to keep an eye on it. The man came in a gray Suzuki and the crane decided that this was its companion. It fell in love with the car! When the car moved, the crane followed. It was the funniest thing!” The kids shouted to their father, ‘Baba you must get other birds, this Kurk cannot love a car!’ And he smiled and drove us to a small enclosure… after hearing the cries of the lonely crane, a flock of cranes had gathered to keep him company.
