The Aga Khan Award for Architecture presentation ceremony took place this evening
The award is given every three years to ‘projects that set new standards of excellence in architecture, planning practices, historic preservation and landscape architecture’. It’s no wonder the awards took place in Dubai.
Both Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Aga Khan were present at the event
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum vice President of the UAE and ruler of Dubai and JJ the Aga Khan, the 49th hereditary Imam (Spiritual Leader) of the Shia Imami Ismaili Muslims.
