The UAE is going to develop an ‘advanced skills strategy’ aiming to ensure life-long learning and maintaining the country’s competitive edge.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved the strategy for the Advanced Skills National Program at a UAE cabinet meeting on Sunday, which aims to position the UAE as a world leader in the field of advanced skilled development.
The strategy targets three primary groups including schools in schools and institutes of higher education, fresh graduates, and employees with over 15 years experience.
The programme will promote the culture of learning, build on capabilities, maintain competitive edge and contribute to the development process of the UAE
