These New Visa Announcements From HH Sheikh Mohammed Will Make Life So Much Easier
A series of tweets from both Dubai Media Office and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai mean important changes for the private sector.
From a new insurance schemesfor workers (slashing insurance costs from AED3,000 per worker to just AED60) will reduces the burden on employers, and important new visa announcements will make life easier for jobseekers, people in transit, and people adjusting their visa (soon, there’ll be no need to leave the country anymore to adjust your visa).

The low-cost insurance scheme will be welcomed by employers
In a cabinet meeting today we approved reforms including replacing the bank guarantee system for private sector employees, with a low-cost insurance scheme. New six month temporary visa WITHOUT fees and free 48 hour visa for anyone in transit

New six month visas for job seekers
The Cabinet adopted a decision to grant people overstaying their visa a chance to leave the country voluntarily without a “no entry” passport stamp. A new 6-month visa will be introduced for job seekers. #UAE
