Sir Rod Stewart Is Captured On Video Doing A Fake ISIS Execution On A Trip To The Desert
Of all the things celebrities have done while visiting the UAE this has to be up there with the strangest. Sir Rod Stweart, the 72-year-old singer, who performed in the DU Arena on YAS Island last night, mimicked an ISIS execution on a trip to the desert. British extremist Mohammad Emwazi, or Jihadi John became infamous for posting a series of executions of British and American people on the internet. Stewart has since claimed it was a joke related to Game Of Thrones.
‘Simply larking about’
“From re-enacting the Beatles’ Abbey Road crossing to spontaneously playing out Game Of Thrones, we were simply larking about pre-show. Understandably, this has been misinterpreted and I send my deepest apologies to those who have been offended.”

The video was posted on Instagram by his wife Penny Lancaster but has since been removed
But the comments section on Instagram is all about one thing
This incident will over-shadow what was a great performance last night
