There Is Going To Be A Super Moon In The UAE Within The Next Hour

This year’s first “super moon” is happening tonight (in the next hour, in fact) and it’s a sight you don’t want to miss out on.

It is going to be  first of three full moon supermoons in succession (the other two will happen in January 2018).

What is a super moon?

It is basically when a new or full moon  occurs with the moon at or near its closest approach to Earth in a given orbit.

So basically, the moon will look the largest and closest you might have ever seen it.

The moon rise time in Dubai tonight is expected to be 5.33PM, reaching its peak at around 7.46PM.

And since the nights are longer this time of the year, you might even get a couple of hours of an uninterrupted super moon (depending on how cloudy the sky is).
