Elon Musk Is In Town As Tesla Readies Itself For UAE Launch
With the official launch of Tesla happening tonight, the country is in overdrive chatting about what the company’s plans are.
CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk is already in Dubai for the World Government Summit so is expected to be at the launch tonight at the Burj Khalifa.
It seems the Tesla showroom will take the place of the old Porsche showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road (near the Burj Khalifa metro station), as one UAE resident tweeted photos of boarding up around the space.

Tesla chargers have already begun to be deployed, including one at Last Exit near the Abu Dhabi-Dubai border.
