The Du Top Boss Says The UAE’s Telecoms Only Has Room For Two
The CEO of Du, Osman Sultan, has stated that the UAE market “doesn’t need a third telecom operator at the time” as the current amount of competition in the market leaves the perfect opportunity for innovation.
Du ended rival Etisalat’s domestic monopoly in 2007
It has since invested an estimated at AED 20 billion in network and infrastructure development.
Earlier this year, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) announced that it will now also be offering mobile services under the Virgin Mobile brand.
But Du has signed an exclusive deal with Virgin Mobile to offer services specially geared towards millennials so better data packages maybe?
