This Emirati Man Has Become The Youngest Arab To Conquer Both North And South Pole

Whoa!

At just 26 years Emirati climber Abdullah Al-Ahbabi added a feather to his cap by making it to the North Pole last year… but this time he has scaled the even tougher South Pole, officially becoming the youngest Arab to do so.

Abdullah, alongside a team of five set off for this great expedition, scaling the icy terrains for 130 km for nine days to reach their destination

Waving the UAE flag proudly at the bottom of the world! After skiing over 130 km across Antarctica at an altitude of over 3300 m and weather conditions at -50 C I have reached the South Pole after conquering the incredible odds that laid in front of me. Antarctica clearly made me work for it, and it sure wasn’t any easier than the North Pole. I am happy that all the hard work and months of training payed off. More importantly I am honored to place the UAE at the top of Arab League (22 countries) for having the youngest Arab to ski to both poles unassisted. Impossible is just someone’s else’s limitation, don’t live within it. The magic happens where there are no limitations ???????? #UAEYouthChallenge #EmiratiAtSouthPole #UAE #SouthPole #ADCB #AlsadeemAstronomy #EtihadAirways #Etihad
