Yesterday we reported that an explosion took place in an apartment in Al Qouz, however at the time the cause of the explosion was only speculation and it was thought there were only two injured.
It was later confirmed that it was a gas explosion and that three people were injured. Marium Ghandi, 30, her mother Sherin, 57, and her 3-month-old baby girl were all injured in the incident and were rushed to Rashid hospital, where they were admitted to the resuscitation zone of the primary care facility with severe burns.
Thankfully, the baby has only suffered minor injuries and has been moved to Latifa hospital, where it's been confirmed that her condition has stabilised.
