A Man Was Assaulted And Robbed At Knifepoint After Setting Up A Date On Tinder
A man has been robbed at knifepoint after four criminals lured him to a date via Tinder.
The Nigerian nationals reportedly set up a fake Tinder profile, posing as a European woman, and lured the 42-year-old victim to a flat, before locking him in.
Three men and a woman have been apprehended for the crime.
The man was physically assaulted, and robbed at knifepoint – and the accused forced the man to reveal his PIN for bank cards
The group then withdrew AED100,000 from his accounts.
The four have been sentenced to three years jail for robbery, physical assault, making criminal threats and unlawful use of a bank cards.
