‘Torrential Downpour, A Riot & Sean Paul Miming His Songs’ – Red Fest DXB Last Night
Virgin Radio’s Red Fest DXB have been hyped up for the past month on the radio so much so that the artists performing have been on repeat on 104.4. The first day of the two day festival in Media City Amphitheater took place yesterday.
It rained for the first time in months last night, putting a dampener on the evening, but the crowd still made the most of it, and the artists did their best to perform in the windy and wet conditions.
One Redfest attendee summed up the evening with a single tweet
RedfestDXB 2017: torrential downpour, a riot & a struggling Sean Paul singing every 10th word out of time of his backing track

Sean Paul forgets the words for his song while performing during a downpour
Security were blocking the exits and not letting people out because of a ‘riot’
I am not sure! All I know is security were blocking the exits and saying we couldn’t get out cause of “a riot”

Another attendee reported that a fight broke out
Thursday’s lineup included The Veronicas, G-EAZY and Sean Paul
