Number plates in Dubai are big business.

Public auctions run by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) are common and generate big interest. The next is taking place on Saturday 30 at the exclusive JW Marriott hotel and to make a bid you’ll need access to AED 25,000 deposit.

The lower your number plate the better, apparently.
