Two Babies, 44kg Of Gold And $20,000 Have All Been Found In Dubai Taxis

Two children, gold and cash have all been left in Dubai taxis and returned to their rightful owners, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). 

A reported 9,131 items have been left in taxis in the first two months of 2017, and the RTA has worked to return them. 

The children left in taxis were returned to their parents quickly.

A 24kg bag of gold was discovered by one taxi driver who helped return the valuables. 

Another instance saw a 20kg bag of gold and $20,000 worth of cash left behind – which was also returned. 

The RTA has said it will install cameras to help minimise future losses.
