Two Burglars Broke Into A Police Officer’s Villa And Stole Nearly AED1 MILLION Worth Of Valuables

Two men have been arrested after they robbed a villa of more than AED800,000 worth of valuables – which turned out to be the home of a Dubai Police officer. 

The men broke into the villa in Al Warqaa while the officer and his wife were out between 11pm and 3am. 

According to the National, when the couple returned home at 3am, they discovered the door had been broken, and all their valuables – including AED200,000 in cash – had been stolen. 

Dubai Police launched an investigation 

And found several break-ins had happened in the area. They received information from sources that two Chinese nationals may be involved – and arrested the two after investigating. 

The men initially resisted arrest, trying to escape but the police caught them. 

They confessed to the crimes upon interrogation.
