Two Singaporean Nationals Have Been Sentenced To A Year In Prison For Cross Dressing In A UAE Mall
Two Singaporean nationals have been arrested at a UAE mall for cross dressing, during a photoshoot.
One national identifies as a female, but official documents say male, and the other identifies as a male.
The two were sentenced to one year in prison, as per UAE law, that states it’s illegal to crossdress.
Both will be incarcerated in a male prison.
