This Super Efficient UAE Police Force Solved A Murder Mystery In One Day

When the criminal investigation department (CID) of RAK Police found out through the forensic medical report that an Arab worker has been murdered, a special team was formed to find the killer.

According to Khaleej Times, Brigadier Abdullah Ali Menakhas, director of CID, the team consisted of authorities from the Head of Investigation, the Criminal Investigation Department and the Acting Director of the Violence Crimes Department. 

And within 24 hours of the crime, RAK police successfully arrested the murderer.

Who was the murder suspect?

After an intense investigation, the team found out that the guilty was actually victim’s roommate- a fellow UAE citizen. 

Investigation revealed that the duo fought incessantly and the roommate murdered his friend out of spite.

He confessed to killing his roommate by hitting him with a cutting tool on the head while he was sleeping, and then pouring poison inside the victim’s mouth to make it look like a suicide.
