One Brave Team Is Reppin’ The UAE In The Gumball Rally And Their Cars Are RIDICULOUS

This year, one team from the UAE is going to participate in the outlandish Gumball 3000 challenge, an annual 3,000-mile motor rally which takes place throughout Europe.

Five team members, including Sheikh Mohamed Al Thani of the Qatari royal family and co-founder of Musafir.com, Mohammed Al Othman, Masoud Mohammed, Raed Zidan and Omar Zidan have three pretty slick cars to get them from Riga through Warsaw, Budapest, Dubrovnik, Tirana and Athens to their final destination; Mykonos.

The UAE will surely have one of the more impressive fleets; a Rolls Royce Phantom (with number 1 plate no less), Mercedes SLR and the Mercedes G63. 

An artist from Tunisia collaborated with the team to create the funky design you see below, the writing is a verse by Tunisian poet Aboul-Qacem Echebbi.

They will be reppin’ the UAE and wearing traditional Emirati dress
