The UAE Was Ranked As The BEST Nationality In The Arab World
The United Arab Emirates took the title home by being ranked the number one best nationality to be in the Arab world.
According to Henley and Partners, a citizenship planning firm, this top ranking title looks at the quality of the nationality.
The ranking was done in 2017 by the firm and it looked at the Kochenov Quality of Nationality Index, which provides a comprehensive understanding and ranking of the nationalities around the world.

Previous years
UAE has gone up in the annual index from 44.5% in 2016 to 45.8% just last year.
And over the past five years, the UAE has climbed 13 positions and is now in 46th place worldwide.
Qualifications
The index considers the Arab country’s move towards improving the passport, visa-free travel destinations to the Schengen area, opportunities and limitations on the nationality.
Gulf News reported that “the QNI measures both the internal value of nationality, which refers to the quality of life and opportunities for personal growth within our country of origin, and the external value of nationality, which identifies the diversity and quality of opportunities that our nationality allows us to pursue outside our country of origin.”
Other countries
Kuwait ranked second in the Arab region and 82nd in the world and Saudi Arabia is at third place in the Arab region and 89th worldwide.
France was ranked first place globally with an index score of 81.7%
