An Unauthorised Drone Activity At Dubai International Airport Caused A MAJOR Halt In Departures This Friday Morning
Flights at Dubai International Airport were temporarily suspended on Friday morning due to an unusual activity.
A suspected drone activity caused Dubai Airport to temporarily close, much to the chagrin of the passengers.
Several disgruntled flyers took to Twitter to rant about the situation.

According to a Dubai Airports spokesperson, the services were interrupted between 10.13am and 10.45am, for about 30 minutes this morning.

Dubai Airports confirms that operations at Dubai International are back to normal after less than 30 minutes of delay due to unauthorized drone activity.

Flying unauthorised drones are against the UAE laws
Authorities warned that flying drones without obtaining permission is subject to legal liability as per UAE laws.

“Dubai Airports is working closely with the appropriate authorities to ensure that the safety of airport operations is maintained at all times and to minimise any inconvenience to our customers”, the statement further said.
