UPDATE: The Reason Behind Yas Mall And Ferrari World Evacuations Yesterday Have Been Revealed
Update: Abu Dhabi peeps were in a bit of a confusion yesterday when the roads to Yas Mall were closed, and people in the mall were evacuated without any information. Along with this, police and ambulance were also spotted at the scene.
People were alarmed and used social media as a way of digging in and finding out more
Here’s what happened
Ferrari World, one of the most popular attractions in the UAE, was also evacuated yesterday because of an unscheduled civil defence drill, according to local news.
It turns out an alarm went off in the mall, and as a safety measure, the people and mall staff were asked to evacuate the space. The mall opened a few hours later, and so did Ferrari World.
